"Yes, I heard," Sam said. They finished gathering up swimming and picnicing things and headed out the door. "I was talking to her about it last time I saw her. She seems really excited about it."
Sam, on the other hand, had no idea how to plan a wedding. To be honest, it had been Pete that had done most of the work the one time she'd made it almost to getting married, and Sam had gone along with it all and nodded and said yes to everything from the florist to the caterer to the musicians. Not out of some 'wives must submit to their husbands' BS, which Sam wouldn't have stood for anyway, but mostly because her heart had been more into saving the world than walking down the aisle.
Honestly, she would be happy with just showing up at the council offices with Jack and grabbing the first available council member to make it official, but somehow that seemed... not quite a fitting way to do it after the years and years it had taken them to get there. So she was a little at a loss.
