Carter's only a little shorter than him but it's enough that Jack can cup her chin and tip her face up to his before leaning in to kiss her. Her skin is so soft. This is only the second time he's done this (he's not counting the time loops) and it still sets his stomach to doing dizzy loop-de-loops; Jack isn't sure he'll ever get used to kissing Carter.
