Jack froze, hand lightly touching the door frame of the hut. He didn't turn around, not after what he'd just done (really, he was supposed to be staying on his side of the line, not crossing it again by kissing her when she couldn't say no) but he did stay.

"Uh...just thought you might need something to get your brain working since you've got...math and stuff to do."
