"Mmm. You're good at this," Jack said quietly, turning his head slightly on the pillow and cracking one eye so he could look at her. She was beautiful, eyes soft and blue and hair so much longer than he'd ever seen it back home. It was a nice sight to wake up to.

"You really are the best girlfriend I've ever had, you know."
