[TR] For Sam
It was hard to find places to go on dates on a deserted island and Jack was well aware it always required a lot of creativity. This morning, he woke up early and made the trek for coffee, bringing back two mugs (he drank his own in the compound kitchen) for Sam to have when she woke up. He put those close by before kneeling on the bed to kiss her awake. He always loved Sam when she first woke up in the morning and she was still hazy from sleep; Sam, in those moments, wasn't a soldier anymore. She was just Sam and had a sweetness he didn't think she could let herself have when fully aware and alert.

Then she straightened a little, looking at him, and her hand that had been trailing in the water came up to cup his jaw. "We're lucky we have this chance," she said softly. She didn't think of it often, but sometimes she still remembered the way he'd looked, bleeding out on the floor of the Tok'ra pyramid, and she was reminded just how lucky they were to have this.

After a minute, her mouth left his, working her way along his jaw. "Jack," she breathed against his skin. Her legs tightened around him a little, changing the angle of her pelvis just enough to make her meaning clear. "Let's go back on shore."
